1.) How does UNIQUE Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator and Stain and Odor Eater work?

All of UNIQUE products contain billions of safe, environmentally friendly bacillus bacteria and enzymes to literally eat up the organic matter that is causing a stain and odor problem.

Remember high school biology? Bacteria are single celled organisms that reproduce by splitting into two cells. There are bacteria that are harmful to humans (such as e.coli) and bacteria that are useful to humans (such as penicillin).

"Bacillus" bacteria is completely harmless to humans, animals, and plants. Yet it consumes a wide variety of organic material (a nice way of saying bad smelling waste such as urine, feces, blood and vomit.) At the cellular level, when you put billions of these bacteria on some sort of organic waste, the bacteria is able to digest it over time, turning it into water and carbon dioxide. The bacteria use "enzymes", which are chemical catalysts to break up long, complex waste molecules into smaller pieces, which can then be digested by the bacteria. Enzymes are not alive, they are manufactured by the bacteria - similar to the digestive enzymes in your own stomach. In order to speed up this natural process, the makers of Unique products have added essential nutrients and extra enzymes to "jump start" the bacteria's digestion process. Without these added ingredients, the same process might take months or years rather than hours. There is no bleach, alcohol, or other caustic ingredients in any of our products. They are all guaranteed to remove stains, and odors safely, effectively and permanetly.

2.) What Can I Use it on?

Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator and our general purpose Odor and Stain Eater may be safely used on:

If you are not sure if a fabric is color safe, we do recommend testing a hidden area first.

3.) How do I Use PET ODOR & STAIN ELIMINATOR or ODOR & STAIN EATER?

Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator and Odor and Stain Eater comes either in a concentrated bottle ready to mix with warm water, or already mixed in a ready to use spray bottle.

• If you have treated a stain with a distinfectant or sanitizer you must wait at least 6 hours BEFORE OR AFTER applying either of these products. The bacteria must be alive to work, and distinfectants kill the bacteria.
  
  
• TO MIX THE CONCENTRATE: mix 1 part concentrate with up to 10 parts warm water in a spray bottle. Do not mix more than can be used in one week, or the bacteria may go dormant and not work. Please read on for more information on how to use the concentrate.
  
  
• TO USE THE READY TO USE FORMULA: simply pour on the stain enough to saturate it completely. Dampen a clean white towel or cotton cloth with warm water, wring it out, and place it over the stain. Generally, the stain must be kept damp for several hours for the bacteria to fully digest the stain. If you are treating an area with a large amount of urine, there may be a heavy ammonia smell as you treat it. You may need to repeat the process two or more times, every 12 hours, until the odor is gone. Don't be afraid to get things wet. The area must have enough product/water on it to do the job. You can also just mix some up and pour it directly on the area you are trying to treat.
  
  
• CARPET EXTRACTORS: Begin by putting hot water only in the extractor and pull out as much of the urine as possible. Then fill the extractor with very warm water and add 2-4 ounces of product for each gallon of water. Do not extract all the water from the carpet, the bacteria must have water to grow. Leave the carpet damp and put damp, white towels over the area where there is urine.
  
  
• BLOOD STAINS: Mix one part Odor and Stain Eater and 5 parts water and apply to stain. Cover stain with a clean, damp white towel and leave overnight. The protein from the blood will be digested.

4.) Is it Safe?

The "Bacillus" bacteria in all of Unique's products is completely safe for animals, plants and humans. It is the ultimate enviromentally friendly cleaning product. Our products DO NOT CONTAIN any acids, corrosives or toxins. We like to say Nature's Way is the Best Way! We do recommend that you wash your hands after handling the products.

1) What is the Shelf Life of 303 Aerospace Protectant?

If 303 Aerospace Protectant is protected from freezing it will retain its effectiveness 5 years or longer.

2) How do I apply 303 High Tech Fabric Guard Correctly ?

• Make sure the surface you are treating is clean.
• Make sure the surface you are treating is dry.

Do not overspray! Saturation is not necessary. The surface needs to be slightly damp but not soaked. The polymer 303 uses in it's Fabric Guard helps the product go down deep into the fabric. There is no need to treat both sides of the surface. The top side is preferred.

Maintenance is essential. You can lightly mist the surface every 6 months to check the water repellency. Friction will wear away product more quickly leaving the fabric unprotected. If this is the case ... such areas can be spot treated to renew repellency.
