Rocket City Sales Terms, Buying & Payment Polices, & More
1. We ask that all buyers read our terms on this page and comply with all eBay Agreements & Policies before bidding or buying from Rocket City Sales. Additional terms are also available on Rocket City Sales FAQ pages.
All Bidders must be 18 years or older.
2. Shopping with Rocket City Sales is fast & simple!! Just choose Buy-It-Now option and follow the links to checkout for your purchase. If you need help, just drop us an e-mail and we will provide assistance in any way we can.
3. IMMEDIATE SHIPPING (usually same day) on all items purchased - all items are shipped within 24 hours (or less) of payment receipt (exceptions are Weekends, US Postal Holidays, Emergencies, Severe Weather Events, or other Events beyond our control and Vacations (when noted in auction description)). Exception - International shipments are processed within 48-72 hours of payment receipt.
4. We provide 100% replacement or refund on all insured purchases. This guarantees that you will receive an immediate replacement or refund for any damage or loss that occurs during transit. Insurance is required on all items. Buyers who refuse insurance must sign a waiver or item will not ship and all monies paid will be returned.
5. FREE Gift Wrapping – Let us make your gift special, as we will include a note from you and special wrapping paper for gift occasions (Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, please be Gender Specific (Boy/Girl)etc.). We ship to any address provided; pending appropriate shipping charges are paid by the buyer.
6. TIP for shipping Gift Item(s) – Please remember to allow sufficient time for an item to arrive by occasion date. We strongly recommend choosing Priority Mail (3-5 days) or Express Mail (1-3 days) for shipping gift items. For instance if you purchase a book on Monday and it needs to arrive by Friday and you choose Media Mail Rate, this method can take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive. We cannot guarantee arrival of any item, regardless of shipping method chosen, unless Signature Confirmation is purchased and buyer agrees to incur and pay all additional fees involved to secure expedited delivery.

Primary carrier for Rocket City Sales is USPS or DHL, in some (rare) cases we may ship using FedEx.
7. $ave Money - we offer combined shipping rates - DO NOT COMPLETE eBAY CHECKOUT -- please wait for invoice from Rocket City Sales to reflect savings.
8. Media Mail (Books & Digital Format items) – based upon the heaviest item first, then $3 for 2nd item and $2.00 for each item thereafter.
9. Parcel Post (non-book) - items will be based upon heaviest item first, then $4 for each additional item after the 1st item purchased.
10. Priority Mail (all items books & non-books) - items will be based upon overall size of shipment and will be calculated at the end of auction.
11. Mixed Content Items (non-books with books) - will be calculated based upon individual weight of heaviest item first and size of shipping container and provided to buyer in a separate invoice sent once the auction has ended.
12. Locally Sold Items – Rocket City Sales Policy is to mail all items. However, if you prefer there is a handling/pick-up/delivery fee of $5.00 per auction item (i.e., 3 items in one auction or 3 auctions with 1 item each = $15.00 delivery fee (in lieu of shipping)) and will include appropriate charges for Alabama sales tax. You will be contacted for contact times and delivery options, otherwise item will be mailed to buyer.

PLEASE CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL.
Media Mail and Parcel Post can take 2 months or longer to arrive at your location and we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
13. Payment Terms US Bidders -- We accept Personal Checks and Money Orders, Paypal, Certified Bank Check, and other US negotiable money instruments, as outlined in eBay Safe Payments Policy.
14. Visa & MasterCard Accepted - if you do not have a PAYPAL account, or prefer not to use an existing Paypal Account, we will gladly accept Visa & MasterCard as payment. Just e-mail us once the auction has ended and we will provide a secure link to pay using your Visa or MasterCard. Google checkout is available, however we must e-mail you a seperate link to use this service and it is not associated with any eBay payment service policies or provisions. Buyer accepts 100% responsibility for choosing Google Checkout option.
International Bidders - we do not accept checks or money orders as payment. We do accept Paypal or Credit Card payments.

Shipping Terms - All International shipments are processed within 48-72 hours of payment receipt. Express Shipping (same day) is available at an additional cost of $10 (USD) per shipment or item. Please contact us for details and payment.
15. Combined Shipping Rates for multiple items will be based upon entire size/weight of shipment and calculated at the end of auction and sent with invoice totals. Items paid for without invoice being adjusted will be refused by Rocket City Sales and sale cancelled.
An invoice will be sent with postage for all items purchased. In some cases, multiple items may be shipped in seperate/individual packages to ensure lowest shipping rates are provided to buyers.
16. All International packages ship at Buyer’s Own Risk (insurance is optional but must be bought and paid for) – (excludes items shipped to APO address on US Military Bases). We maintain a Sender’s Copy of each Customs Declarations for all international packages shipped and can provide a photo copy, via e-mail at Buyer’s request.
17. In-Country Telephone Number (local number only) - required for all international shipments, item will not be shipped until a telephone number is received from buyer.
18. Payment Terms – International Bidders – US Dollars (USD) ONLY. International Bidders may pay/remit using PAYPAL, or CREDIT CARD (Visa and MasterCard, or Euro MasterCard only), as outlined in eBay Safe Payments Policy.
19. Visa & Mastercard Accepted - if you do not have a PAYPAL account, we will gladly accept Visa & MasterCard as payment. Just e-mail us once the auction has ended and we will provide a secure link to pay using your Visa or MasterCard.
20. Payment Arrival – All payments (International and US Bidders) are expected to arrive within 7 business days of an auction ending.
21. Non-Payment - Unpaid Item Disputes (UPI) – This seller reports all unpaid items after 8 business days have passed and payment has not arrived from buyer. Actions are processed according to eBay Guidelines. Once a dispute is filed, each bidder is provided an option to respond to the seller’s statements. If an agreement cannot be reached within 24 hours, all items won by the same bidder will no longer be available. Appropriate feedback will be left stating facts of transaction.
22. Rocket City Sales reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale if terms and conditions set forth on this page are not complied with. All customers will be treated in a business-like manner. Coercion, sarcasm, rudeness, belligerence, crassness, vulgar or offensive language, and indecent conduct will not be tolerated and will be reported immediately to eBay.
