Introduction
By purchasing an item from us you are agreeing to the terms and
conditions below.

Photography
Due to quantities
of listings we may use library photography of previous stock items.
The item photographed may not always be the specific one you will
receive. If you have a specific instrument/serial number requirement
please phone IN ADVANCE of sale to check availability.
Payment
Payment
must be received in full before Rich Tone Music will dispatch any
goods.
Delivery
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to purchaser once
Rich Tone Music have delivered them.
We can only deliver goods to the same address to which the credit/debit
card used to pay for the goods is registered, except in cases where
payment has been made by cheque, postal order or bankers draft,
and the funds have cleared fully against our account. This is to
help combat fraudulent activity and given the expensive nature of
our products is safest for everyone.
Unless otherwise advised, delivery will be made by UPS courier service
or Royal Mail for smaller items, and will be delivered between 9am
and 5pm.
The charge for delivery will be shown during the checkout process
before you transmit your details over our secure server.
All delivery is subject to stock availability.
Damages/shortages must be notified within 1 working day of delivery.
Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from

you will get a sale confirmation E-mail which details the specifics
of your order. This will stand true for orders placed on
www.richtonemusic.co.uk
and via our Ebay shop on
www.ebay.co.uk.
All orders should be deemed to be accepeted once confirmation of
dispatch has been emailed to the customer. Any products not on the
dispatch confirmation E-mail do not form part of that contract.
Cancellation of orders - procedure
You can cancel an order before payment has been taken completely
free of charge.
Cancellation requests must be sent to
sales@richtonemusic.co.uk.
This is best achieved by replying to your sales confirmation E-mail
which details the specifics of your order.
Any transportation costs for cancelled orders must be paid by the
purchaser, except in instances where the goods supplied are faulty,
have been supplied in error, or miss-described by the seller. We
can arrange collection of a cancelled order on behalf of the purchaser,
and a collection charge will be confirmed when the collection is
arranged.
Orders cannot be cancelled where the goods have been altered by
the purchaser in any way from the original condition.
7 Day
Money Back Guarantee
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, any goods
can be returned for any reason within 7 working days for a refund,
less carriage costs. Returned goods must be in their original condition
and packaging. If you decide that you do not wish to keep an item
you can either return it to us yourself, or contact us and we will
arrange collection.
Refunds will be NETT of the UNSUBSIDISED cost
of outbound and inbound shipping to recoup charges incurred. Charges
can be calculated at
www.ups.com using their quote system.
All items must be fully insured to their full value. e.g. The total
UPS.com quoted price of shipping to and from your address (fully
insured) will be deducted from your refund total.

about return charges.
Please note
that this Money Back Guarantee does not apply to software that has
been opened (see below) or hardware that includes software as part
of the package, where the software component has been opened. Video/Audio
content in the form of CDs or DVDs also cannot be returned if the
item has been opened.
IMPORTANT
- Hire Charges (Returns Of Exclusive Items, Special Deals, Special
Order Items)
Unique and difficult to get hold of items OR Exclusive
offers and deal price items may be subject to a hire charge if taken
for several days and wish to be returned if simply not to taste.
This will be calculated on a daily basis and confirmed by phone
and in your returns confirmation E-mail.
Returns and Refunds
Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay
for the goods. Credit/debit card refunds will be processed immediately
and normally take 3-5 working days to show on the customer's account.
Goods that have been altered from their original condition in any
way cannot be returned.
Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the
product was brought to the attention of the customer at the point
of sale.
Faulty Goods: Within 28 days of the date of delivery, we will arrange
for the collection and replacement of faulty goods. Outside of 28
days from the date of delivery, we will arrange from the return
of faulty goods from us to the manufacturers for repair, under the
terms of manufacurer's warranty. This policy is invalidated if the
goods have been altered in any way from their original condition,
or if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser.
Orders for software products or hardware that includes software
as part of the package, cannot be refunded once the software has
been opened. Video/Audio content in the form of CDs or DVDs also
cannot be returned if the item has been opened. If further clarification
