Remembering Bea Arthur

Golden Girl Bea Arthur left a rich legacy of screen performances, but will always be remembered for MAUDE and THE GOLDEN GIRLS.

In THE GOLDEN GIRLS she was the quick-witted daughter surrounded by insanity. With an ensemble cast without equal, this was one of the most popular shows ever on TV, standing alongside such classics as I Love Lucy and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

In MAUDE she was the strong-willed liberal woman who fought her battles in hilarious fashion. With an impressive supporting cast, she left us laughing week after week.
