I take all my measurements with the garments laying flat unstretched.

I take the shoulder measurement across the back of the garment.

Bust is from armpit to armpit.

Arm inseam is now taken from the outside shoulder to wrist. Some older listings have been taken from the armpit, but these will be noted.

Waist is the narrowest point around 10" from armpit.

Hips are around 8" from the waist measurement.

Length is taken from the shoulder to the bottom hem.

The rise is taken from the waistband down to wear the seams meet.

Inseam is taken from the point of the seams to the bottom hem on the inside of the pant leg.

Remember all brands differ, so your best bet to ensure an excellent fit is to pay close attention to measurements.
