INVENTORY

• If our inventory gets depleted on a New or Factory Renewed item, we will arrange to have it shipped directly from one of our suppliers.
• If you are a bidder or have won an item and it becomes unavailable, we will promptly contact you.
• If you have paid for an item that becomes unavailable, we will give you the option of an immediate refund or a delayed shipping date if the item is on backorder.

 

PAYMENT

• PayPal is our preferred payment method.
• PayPal lets you send payments securely online using a credit card or bank account.
• Check Payment details on the listing for other payment methods accepted.
• We charge sales tax according to the Sales Tax section on the listing.
• Payment and/or contact is expected within two (2) days after committing to buy.
• If payment is not received within seven (7) days of committing to buy, we can not guarantee that the item will still be available.

SHIPPING

• We usually ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment. A Tracking Number (if available) will be supplied.
• Check the Shipping and handling section for more detailed information. We occasionally offer free shipping.
• We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Insurance is optional but recommended.
• Contact us for a shipping quote prior to bidding if you require a shipping method not listed (additional charges may apply).
• On international shipments, a customs and duty fee may be applied upon delivery to the recipient of the package.
• We can typically combine shipping on items with the same shipping code. The shipping code is a three digit number that can be found at the bottom of the Item Description. If the item doesn't have a shipping code, then the item is either already packaged, has free shipping, or is the only item currently offered from a particular location. Please contact us for a combined shipping quote prior to bidding.

RETURNS

• All sales are final unless item is not as described.
• If we missed something significant in our description or photos, we will issue a refund if requested as follows:
  • New Items, Factory Renewed or Refurbished items - see our Warranty
  • Software, Audio & Video items - no returns due to copyright laws.
  • All other items - must be postmarked within (14) days of receipt.
• All items must be returned to us in the same condition as received.
• We can not refund return shipping charges.
• Please contact us prior to returning an item so we can have a chance to work out any discrepancies.

FACTORY RENEWED PRODUCTS

• Open Box: Items cannot be sold as new if product packing is removed without a purchase.
• Returns: Consumers can return products for any reason. Perhaps the consumer didn't like the product or had difficulty getting the item to work. Whether it's the very next day or months later, these items must be identified as 'reconditioned' or 'refurbished' to be resold.
• Hogston Traders makes every effort to ensure that our reconditioned merchandise does not include 'Scratches and Dents'.
• Every renewed product must pass a thorough examination. After repairing any defect and sanitizing, the product is repackaged. This service may be performed by the original manufacturer, a reputable professional outside firm or by the wholesaler or supplier. All products are returned to like-new condition.
• We will use at least one of the following methods to identify a 'Factory Renewed' product.
• With this icon:
• By including an (R) in the model number - Example: BR549(R).
• By denoting either 'Factory Renewed' or 'Refurbished' within the listing.
• 'Factory Renewed' products may come in different packaging. By law, product packaging must state if an item is factory renewed. Packaging and terminology may differ from the original. Some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that it's reconditioned, refurbished, or factory serviced. Some items are repackaged in a plain brown or white box. Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (camera cases, straps, etc.) that are not included with the reconditioned product. Be sure to read over the product information page for a list of included accessories.
• Factory renewed products maintain high quality standards. Each item is checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality. In fact, renewed goods have a very low (2-percent) return rate.
• The price you pay for a renewed item is much lower than at retail.
• Our guarantee covers every renewed item you purchase. For more information about warranties, please read our Warranty.
• Legal Note: Because we source some items through wholesalers and retailers, not all items are necessarily endorsed by or affiliated with the original manufacturer of the item or the owner or licensee of a mark associated with the item. Hogston Traders, however, stands by all sales and offers its guarantees and warranties on all products.

 

WARRANTY

• Typographic, description and/or photo errors or subject to correction. We apologize for any inconvenience.
• We agree, at our option to repair or replace any defective merchandise during the 30 day warranty period.
• Defective products returned to us in original packaging with all accessories and owners manuals will be replaced or repaired.
• Defective products returned to us missing accessories or original packaging will be replaced or repaired as received.
• A 20% Restocking fee will apply on non-defective returns.
• PLEASE allow 1-2 weeks for processing. You may contact us to obtain the current status of your return.
• Returns must be sent pre-paid and contain a note explaining the problem. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
• IMPORTANT: Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization number before returning any merchandise. This RMA number will need to be printed clearly on the outside of the package being returned. Any returned package that does not have an RMA number will be returned to sender.

• We always strive at Hogston Traders to be courteous, friendly and honest with everyone. As such, feedback is very important to us.
• We also know that from time-to-time things can go wrong (shipping errors, listing errors, expecting something different, etc.) All we want is a chance to work out any problems prior to them becoming a major issue. We will do everything in our power to earn your positive feedback.
