Return/Exchange Policy - Effective

Returns/Exchanges
will not be honored unless
authorization has been given by Grassroots Computers RMA Department. To
receive
an RMA (Returns Material Authorization) number please send an email to
help@grassrootscomputers.com
with your ebay user name, item #, and details of the issue you are
experiencing
with your item. A Grassroots Computers Representative will reply, with
further
questions, details of how to get in touch with the manufacturer if your
warranty is a manufacturer warranty, and the RMA exchange form. You
must
completely fill out that RMA form and email it back to the rep to be
assigned
an RMA#.
For items with a manufacturer warranty,
customers must report to the manufacturer for any non-working item issues,
even DOA items. Grassroots Computers will help you get contact info
for the manufacturer. In the first 30 days you may return the item to
us for exchange. Beyond that period you must contact the manufacturer
of the item for an exchange. Paying return shipping cost on RMA exchanges
is industry standard and will be charged by the manufacturer.
For any item
that does not have a warranty period
stated, there is no warranty implied or offered by Grassroots
Computers.
Any warranty period offered by Grassroots Computers on items will be
stated in
each individual auction. Please keep a printed copy of your auction as
proof of
purchase to obtain warranty service.
Items that
carry a Grassroots Computers warranty
may be returned for an exact or similar exchange within the warranty
period
stated in auction. Warranty period starts from purchase date. If item
is not in
stock we reserve the right to refund as a last resort.
In the first 30 days after purchase all
non-defective product may be returned in un-opened condition with all
packing materials, retail box, UPC or other original items in place.
If the item works, but is not compatible
with the customer's system, the customer may obtain an RMA# and send
the item back for a refund minus a restocking fee at the discretion
of Grassroots Computers. The customer is responsible for research
to make sure the item he or she orders is compatible with their computer
system.
Shipping fees are non-refundable for defective
and non-defective product returns or exchanges.
Customers are
responsible for returning the item
in original packaging with all included manuals, cables, software, etc.
Products
that are returned missing any part of the original packaging or
materials
included will be returned without exchange, repair or replacement at
the
customer’s expense. Returned packages must include some form of
tracking and
delivery confirmation, we are not responsible for lost or damaged
items, please
insure your returns.
International
duties/taxes/fees will not be
reimbursed. You must seek reimbursement from your government as they
are the
entity who collects and refunds duties and fees. You will need to show
proof of
product return, i.e. tracking number, etc.
This return
policy applies to items with a value
under $500, or a total order value under $2,000. All items purchased
with
values exceeding these limits are not eligible for return except at the
sole
discretion of Grassroots-Computers.
