(The information on this page refers to one specific group of LPs, among all the LPs I'm listing. These LPs are all SEALED, and mostly Easy Listening and related types of music. They are not what I specialize in, or what I expected to be selling, but they were just too pristine and pretty to pass up! I was surprised to find that there was in fact a strong market for these. )
About this group of FACTORY SEALED LPs - 'The Collection':
All 'Sealed' records are not equal! Sometimes I've bought records that were described as "sealed", only to find out they're reseals, or they have noticeable shelfwear from careless storage. NOT SO for this collection. Unless noted otherwise above, these records are ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAPPED, not resealed; the covers ARE mint, and they have:
No cutouts, drillholes, stains, tears, fading, writing, stickers, moisture damage.
No worn seams, spine cracking, or ringwear. No bent or dogeared corners, no dings.
No torn, missing, or dirty shrinkwrap. Shrink is crisp, with sharp edges.
White parts of covers are blazing white with no aging. Colors are sharp and bright.
Vinyl will be unplayed and Mint.
This amazing find of hundreds of vintage albums (95% of which are Sealed) came from an obsessive elderly man who bought bunches of them in the mid/late 1960s to mid-1970s, but opened them. Most were from Record Clubs. They were kept in the original mailers (many of which were never opened either!) with notes on the mailers detailing when they were bought and how much they cost, etc. In many cases, he bought multiple copies of the same titles and just packed themaway. There is a variety of pressings- thick vinyl, thinner vinyl, first pressings, later pressings. Write if you have questions about particular features.
Virtually all are in Mint condition, with no wear whatsoever, not even scuffs on the shrinkwrap. They look like the day they were made. There's about 300 sealed Boxsets too. There is also a quantity number of 8-tracks tapes in similar New/Sealed condition, with similar titles. I'll be listing all of these for a long time, so please check back regularly, and be sure to add me to your Favorite Sellers list!
