Greetings and welcome to Durham Botanicals. It’s with great pleasure that we rejoin the eBay community after our extended leave of absence. We would like to offer our thanks to our customers that have so loyally waited for our plants to return. A lot has happened over the past two years. Some has been good, some bad, but all has left us more focused and dedicated to bringing you the best Desert Roses (Adeniums) and more.

Every couple of months we (namely Chris) visit our partners in many interesting corners of our globe. Locations that are frequently visited include Central America, Asia, and Africa. Chris keeps a keen eye out for the plants on the “wish list” that has evolved from your requests. Even though his notebook gets sweaty and rumpled he always manages to come up with some incredible treasures! Maybe years in the bush does account for something after all.

After the plants are carefully selected from our overseas growers they are packed securely for their trip back to sunny Florida. All of this is overseen with incredible attention to detail (anyone who knows Chris can attest to how attentive he can be.) Personally overseeing most every shipment allows us to bring you the very best specimens and save you the trip of collecting them yourself!

Once our plants arrive in Miami they are immediately picked up and brought to the nursery. Waiting employees readily unpack and care for the newly arrived plants to ensure they are settled in with minimal stress. Within just a few weeks it difficult to tell which ones is the new arrivals.

Our nursery continues to be managed with Chris Durham at the controls. Many will be pleasantly surprised to learn that we’ve managed to narrow his focus. The main goal of Durham Botanicals is to provide our customers with the most interesting, rare and one of a kind tropicals available world wide.
