eBay Sales Policy
We believe that the following practices are the best policy we can employ to ensure you the quickest and safest eBay transaction possible.
Our Payment Policy:
A1. Due to the changes in eBay policy as of July 1, 2008, Paypal is the only form of payment that we accept for all eBay transactions. By us accepting only Paypal payments, your purchase is covered under the Paypal Buyer Protection Policy. All monetary transaction can be completed quickly and securely completed, allowing for the quickest possible shipment of your purchased items. Which in turn will result in you receiving your order quickly as well.
A2. In accordance with Paypal policy, we will only ship to the shipping address that you provide on your Paypal payment. We highly advise you to verify your shipping address that is on file with Paypal before placing your order.
A3. All eBay purchases must be paid for within three (3) days of your commitment to buy. If payment is not made within three (3) days, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction.
A4. For non-eBay sales we will continue to accept Paypal, Personal Checks, Business Checks, and Money Orders.
Our Shipping Policy:
B1. We make every attempt to ship your order within one business day of your purchase. Orders placed on Holidays and weekends will be shipped the next business day.
B2. In the event that you have not received your item within seven (7) to ten (10) business days, please email us at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com so that we can check on the shipment. When contacting us about your shipment, please include your full name, your eBay user ID, and item number. This will insure a quick and accurate response.
B3. Most of our items can be combined for shipping. If items are purchased within three days of each other and the items can be combined for shipping, we will calculate the shipping discount as follows; 100% of the highest stated shipping charge and then discount 25% of stated shipping charges for each additional items purchased. Please email us at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com prior to making your purchase if you are unsure which items can be combined for shipping.
B4. We will only ship to the shipping address that you provide on your Paypal payment. We highly advise you to verify your shipping address that is on file with Paypal before placing your order. We ship to your registered Paypal address so that your purchase is covered under the Paypal Buyer Protection Policy.
B5. Please make sure, prior to placing your eBay order, that the delivery address you have on Paypal is the correct address that you want your order shipped to.
B6. We will not be responsible for wrong or undeliverable addresses. Should the ship to address provided by Paypal be incorrect or inadequate resulting in non-delivery or mis-delivery, you (the purchaser) will be responsible for any and all additional Retrieval, Redelivery, Return, and or Service Charges incurred.
Our Shipping Methods Policy:
C1. Unless otherwise noted in the item description your order will be shipped via either DHL Ground Service or FedEx Ground Service. The choice of carrier used will be ours. Because neither carrier will deliver to P.O. Boxes, your actual street address is required for delivery. Your phone number is highly recommended so that it can be given to the carrier to help insure a timely delivery of your package(s).
C2. All Shipping information will be emailed to your registered Paypal email address.
C3. We will only ship to the shipping address that you provide on your Paypal payment. We highly advise you to verify your shipping address that is on file with Paypal before placing your order. We ship to your registered Paypal address so that your purchase is covered under the Paypal Buyer Protection Policy.
C4. Please make sure, prior to placing your eBay order, that the delivery address you have on Paypal is the correct address that you want your order shipped to.
C5. If Postal delivery is available it will be noted in the item description and offered as a shipping option.
C6. For all orders
We insure all order shipments.
We provide tracking numbers for all orders shipped via DHL or FedEx.
We provide either a delivery confirmation number or tracking number for all orders via USPS.
C7. All Shipping information will be emailed to your registered Paypal email address.
C8. Our shipping charges include all inbound shipping charges, all outbound shipping charges, all handling labor, all packaging materials, the package shipping insurance, and tracking number(s).
C9. In accordance with Paypal policy all shipments must be able to be tracked on the Internet, therefore local pick up is not available.
Our Return Policy:
D1. Please read and understand our return policy prior to placing your order.

D2. All Items sold as “AS IS” are not returnable for any reason.
D3. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be issued for any items being returned. You must email us at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com to receive a RMA number before returning any item. All return RMA requests must be made within five (5) days from delivery.
D4. If an item is returned without a RMA being issued, no credit of any type will be given and the returned package will be refused.
D5. Concerning all returns
All returns must be in original factory packaging and marking.
All returns must include the item and all accessories that came with it.
Electrical components and parts are not returnable.
Parts that have been mounted are not returnable.
Any New item(s) returned that are not in sellable condition, shows sign of wear or are damage will not be accepted.
D6. Items that carry a Manufacturer's and/or Factory Warranty are not returnable. These items must be taken to an Authorized Servicing Center and/or Dealer. We will provide you with a copy of the Warranty and the means of how implement the warranty.
D7. If a return is required due to an error on our part;
We will do the following:
We will arrange for the item to be picked up and returned at our expense.
We will correct the error and ship out a replacement if available.
We will pay all additional shipping cost incurred for the return of the error item and reshipment of the correct item.
If the item is out of stock and cannot be shipped right away, at your request we will either ship out the correct item as soon as it becomes available or we will refund 100% of the purchase price paid plus shipping cost.
If the item is a one of a kind item, we will refund 100% of the purchase price paid plus shipping cost.
D8. If a return is required because the buyer purchased the wrong item(s) by mistake;
We will do the following:
We will exchange the wrong item(s) for the correct item(s).
If the correct item(s) cost is more, the buyer is required to pay the difference.
If the correct item(s) is less we will refund the difference.
The return shipping cost of the wrong item(s) is the responsibility of the buyer.
The additional shipping cost incurred for shipping the correct item is the responsibility of the buyer.
A 25% restocking fee will be charged for the returned item.
We must first receive the returned item(s) for inspection and all additional cost must be paid by the buyer prior to shipping of the correct item(s).
We strongly recommend that you insure your return packages and ship via a delivery service that provides proof of delivery. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items that are being returned.
D9. If a return is required due to an item(s) being defective on arrival (DOA) and is not covered by a stated Manufacturer's and/or Factory Warranty, and is reported to us via email at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com within three (3) days of delivery.
We will do the following:
We will issue you a RMA number for the item(s).
You must return the complete item(s) in the original packaging.
Include the RMA number, your name and explanation of defect.
Include proof of return shipping charges that you paid. (For reimbursement).
We strongly recommend that you insure your return package(s) and ship via a delivery service that provides proof of delivery. We are not responsible for damaged or lost items that are being returned.
Once we receive the item(s) and the item(s) do reveal the defect as reported during our inspection we will ship out a replacement item(s) at no additional charge and refund the return shipping cost.
If the item(s) do not show the reported defect, we will inform you of the fact, no replacement will be shipped, no refund for the return shipping will be issued.
D10. If you decide to cancel your eBay order, for whatever reason and it has not already been shipped.
You are responsible for 12% of the sale price for the item to help cover our eBay fees and our time.
We will do the following:
We will send you a Paypal invoice for 12% of the items sale price.
Once you have paid the 12% Paypal invoice and left us Positive Feedback, we will file a mutual agreement to cancel the transaction with eBay and leave Positive Feedback for you.
You will then have seven (7) days to agree with and reply to the mutual agreement email from eBay.
About Manufactures Factory Warranty:
E1. Items that carry a Manufacturer's and/or Factory Warranty are not returnable. These items must be taken to an Authorized Servicing Center and/or Dealer. We will provide you with a copy of the Warranty and the means of how implement the warranty.
E2. A Manufacturer's warranty is not a money back guarantee. Standard warranty coverage is to repair or replace, free of charge, any parts that are defective in material or workmanship. Transportation and/or shipping cost are generally not included in the warranty coverage. Most products do not require registration to obtain warranty coverage. The Paypal sales receipt can be used as your proof of purchase as it indicates the product and the purchase date.
In Case of Shipping Damages / Order Errors / Shortages:
F1. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
Open packaging carefully and save all packaging materials.
F2. We insure every shipment against damage and lost.
F3. If your order arrives and it is damaged due to shipping, you must notify us at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com immediately. We will file a claim with the carrier and make arrangements for the pick up and return of your package. We will ship out a replacement for your damaged order.
F4. Any shipping errors or shortages must be reported to us at auctions@chapmansoutdoorpower.com immediately. Any shipping error or shortage not reported within three (3) day of receiving your packages(s) cannot be adjusted or credited.
Out-Of-Stock and Back Orders:
G1. Because we sell our products in a variety of venues any particular item may become unexpectedly out of stock. If such an event happens, at your request we will do one of the following.
G2. We will cancel the sale and file a mutual agreement to cancel the transaction with eBay.
We will refund 100% of the purchase price including shipping.
G3. We will ship the item as soon as it becomes available.
After you have received the item and left us positive feedback on eBay, we will refund 50% of the shipping charges.
OEM Reference:
H1. All Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) products that we sell are clearly identified as such within the product description.
H2. Any other reference to OEM, trade name or part number in any listing is for identification purposes only. These references on the listed item description to the Manufacturer's trademarks, drawings, colors, and part numbers are for the purpose of helping you identifying Non-OEM parts which maybe used in lieu of corresponding parts made by the identified manufacturers.
